About Us

OUR STORY

We honour our commitments to you and your garden.

Our all-women team is honest, reliable, efficient, and accountable. We take care of planting, weeding, hedging, mowing and generally making your garden sing (with a little help from the birds!) Green waste is taken off-site or mulched back into your garden beds.

When it comes to gardens,
you know the Bee team is the A-team!

If you’re away, we will provide before and after shots of our work so that you can enjoy peace of mind in knowing that your garden is being well tended. For holiday/rental accommodation, we will work in with your requirements, for example: guest arrival and departure times.

HELLO!

Meet the Wild Bee team.

Gina Baker has a Horticulture Nursery Trade Certificate from Wollongbar TAFE, as well as a science degree in Parks, Recreation and Heritage Management from Charles Sturt University, where she was accorded the Dean’s Award.

As well as having worked in plant nurseries, Gina held the position of NSW National Parks Ranger in Byron Bay (1990-2005), and understands all aspects of protected area management, including bush regeneration.

When it comes to gardens, Gina worked for Vella Gardens by Design in the Blue Mountains 2020-2023 with Stephen Vella (former Head of Horticulture at Mt Tomah and Royal Sydney Botanical Gardens). They worked on some of the most impressive gardens in Mt Wilson and Little Hartley including Tollimount, Kashmir, 8 Church Lane, The Avenue, Wildenstein and Culverden.

Gina is proficient and knowledgeable about most aspects of cool-climate gardening and can apply her knowledge to your garden. She prides herself on attention to detail in your garden and is completely accountable for all the work she completes.

Milena McLellan has always enjoyed nature and being in the garden. She loves working on residential gardens, from formal gardens to rambling bush blocks, as well as on farms.

Milena’s areas of interest include working with the particularities of any garden in collaboration with her client's vision, while being mindful of wildlife, conservation, and sustainability.

Milena feels very fortunate to be working within the natural environment that is all around us, and is passionate about deepening her understanding of the cycles and rhythms of nature.
